Page xi: John 20:28 - Jesus is not only to be recognized as the Might [ho Theos] of the world to come, but also he now has within his spiritual body the plenitude of Might as head of the church.

Page xii: John 17:3 - This scripture is the most devastating scripture to trinitarian philosophy, since it designates the God and Father of Jesus as the "only true God" and specifically shows beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus was not the only true God who sent Jesus. Notwithstanding, trinitarians will find ways to twist this scripture to fit the added-on trinitarian philosophy.

Page xiii: Luke 1:35 - The thought is given in the book that this scripture proves that Jesus was not God's Son, and was not begotten in any way, until he was conceived in the womb of Mary. We agree with the authors that Jesus, from his birth to his death, was a human being, nothing more, nothing less. He was not a spirit being simply clothed with a human body. However, Jesus is depicted in the Bible as stating concerning his human body: "Sacrifice and offering [according to the Law] you didn't desire, But a body did you prepare for me." (Hebrews 10:5) Thus, Jesus' body was not formed in the usually manner of reproduction, but his body was especially prepared by his God. We do believe that Jesus existed before coming to the earth in the same "where" that he is now. (John 6:62) We will, God willing, present more on this in our discussion of Chapters VII and VIII.
